Northwest Vista College - 2009-2012

Taught introductory and advanced classes in Autodesk Maya for the Animation and Game Arts curriculum. Subjects covered included basic modeling and animation, character modeling and rigging, and texturing techniques using Adobe Photoshop and Zbrush.

Art Institute of San Antonio   - 2010-present

Teach a wide range of classes centered on the Media Arts and Animation curriculum, as well as General Education and Graphic Design. Subjects covered includebasic modeling and animation in Autodesk 3ds MAX; character modeling and rigging in Autodesk Maya; introduction to and advanced techniques in texturing using Adobe Photoshop and Zbrush; and illustration techniques using traditional sketching, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. 

3D Animation Skills

  • Expert at working with 3d animation applications such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, Zbrush, and Autodesk Mudbox
  • Primarily a polygon modeler, with experience creating character models, props and environment assets.
  • Knowledge of UV layout and the creation of texture maps (diffuse, specular, normals, displacement, etc...) in Photoshop, Zbrush, and Autodesk Mudbox
  • Adept at weight mapping, creation of scratch built character rigging in Autodesk Maya and CAT rigging in Autodesk 3ds MAX, and the creation of Morph Targets (Blend Shapes)
  • Experience in animation techniques
  • Adept in using other supplementary applications such as: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere
  • Skilled in 2d arts such as character design, traditional figure drawing,  sketching, storyboarding, graphic design, typography and layout
